MOVE Bank offers two main home loan products:
Everyday Home Loan (variable or fixed rate options) is its basic home loan product
(To be eligible for this loan, a credit of $1,500 a month must be deposited into a Move Bank transaction account)
Offset Home Loan (variable or fixed rate options) comes with a slightly higher interest rate but offers a full offset account
MOVE Bank home loan features
- no ongoing monthly or annual fees
- maximum loan-to-value ratio (LVR) 95% with lenders mortgage insurance (LMI) for owner occupiers and 90% for investors
- maximum LVR (without LMI) 80% for both principal and interest (P&I) and interest only (IO) repayments
- interest-only repayments available only for owner-occupier construction loans for a maximum of 12 months, or investment loans for a maximum of 5 years (construction loans not available on offset fixed-rate loans)
- flexible repayment frequency - weekly, fortnightly, or monthly
- redraw facility available
- unlimited extra repayments for variable-rate loans (see below for fixed rates conditions)
