The changes will see members able to choose between one of three managed investment options, with the addition of Global Growth Index Portfolio and Global High-Growth Index Portfolio.
Previously, Superhero Super members were limited in investment options with a minimum 25% of their super balances automatically invested into Superhero’s Global Balanced Index Portfolio option.
Superhero CEO and Co-Founder John Winters said the new Managed Investment Options will allow Australians to take greater control of their superannuation.
“Superhero Super was built on the goal of offering Australians greater control and transparency over how their hard earned retirement savings are invested,” Mr Winters said.
“Keeping our members at the heart of everything we do at Superhero has been key to our success in the market over the last two years.
“We’ll continue adding new features to our platform to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience growing their wealth with Superhero.”
The renewed focus on superannuation comes following Superhero and Swyftx pulling the pin on a $1.5 billion merger in December as a result of disruption and volatility in the cryptocurrency sector.
